A message from our Rockland Main Street Economic Vitality Committee co-chairs, Livka and Sierra:
Dear Downtown Stakeholders,
We are looking for your help in promoting the downtown district this summer.
We are planning a new event - Downtown After Dark - for Friday 7/5 and Friday 8/2. We are encouraging all businesses and organizations to stay open until 7 pm (or later!) on these dates, in conjunction with the First Friday Art Walk. We hope it will encourage more folks to come downtown, have fun, and then visit again in the future!
How can you help? We need locations that are willing to hang posters and put out table tents.
Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know how many posters/table tents you can use. Thanks!
Please also take a look at this facebook event and be sure to share it with your customers and friends!
Here’s a promotional blurb about the event:
“Rockland Main Street, Inc. welcomes everyone to Downtown After Dark. A wide variety of Main Street destinations will be open until 7 pm (or later!) on Friday 7/5 and Friday 8/2 in conjunction with the First Friday Art Walk. We’re staying open late so that folks have plenty of time to dine, shop, sip, and enjoy everything Main Street has to offer. The public is invited to stroll the downtown district, view art at the galleries and museums, and enjoy live music. We hope to see you there!”
Please consider keeping your location open until at least 7 pm for Downtown After Dark on 7/5 and 8/2.
